HOTG & Wasmer: Portable Edge Computing
We are very excited to be featured by Wasmer for bringing portability to AI/ML applications to the edge and beyond. Similar to what we do, Wasmer, is a rust company building on web assembly and a great open-source champion. It is our pleasure to build the future of edge AI and open source software with them. We are particularly excited to contribute to open source tooling in a space where most software is locked down. Join us and learn how runes work in this tutorial: https://hotg.dev/docs/. While you’re at it, check out our app (IOS/Android) where you can play with other runes we have built!
If you are interested in building open-source partnerships to help grow this space, we would love to hear from you. Come join us in building the future of portable edge computing: GitHub, Twitter, and Discord.
Portability for Edge Computing is only the first step for HOT-G. HOT-G plans to use portable containers to build security, telemetry, and edge AI orchestration. At TinyVerse, we are big believers in Rust and are actively investing in building our open source and enterprise offerings.
HOT-G is building technologies for several markets where we see edge computing is required. These include but are not limited to:
Maritime industry - where there is low to no connectivity and predictive maintenance has a big need.
Security of AI IP - where we need to protect AI models using various cryptographic techniques.
The oil and gas industry - abundant data generated in air-gapped systems, and deploying edge models will accelerate time to market.
Solana blockchain - where we are building the future of computational Metaverse. Rust is a first-class citizen in this ecosystem.
